Transverse Granularity and Detection and Reconstruction of Tagging Jets in the Cms Quartz Fibres Forward Calorimeters

We present here a study of the transverse granularity required for tagging jets detection and reconstruction over the expected pileup background, in the CMS Quartz Fibres Forward Calorimeters, HF. Background suppression and jet finding are achieved by an eta independent Et cut on single towers. Granularities in terms of Delta(x), Delta(y) towers are considered.
